Overhead Line Clearances
(0-750 volts)
| Below are general clearance requirements for energized
lines at 0-750 volts. This information should not be used if code standards are
in question (contact the local code authority for specific information for your
area). To get clearance information on lines energized above 750 volts
contact the
Cooperative. There are three organizations that influence these
general standards (in places where the standard varies, the strictest is shown
here):
- BEC -- Bandera Electric Cooperative
- State -- State of Texas
- NESC -- National Electrical Safety Code
- NEC -- National Electric Code
